Product Description
Carbide Seat cutter used in machining, mould making, automotive and aerospace applications, where their high hardness and wear resistance enhance machining efficiency and part accuracy.
Features:
1. High hardness: Carbide typically has a hardness range of 89 to 93 HRA, which is significantly higher than conventional HSS materials. This makes it excellent for cutting metals and other materials.
2. Wear and heat resistance: Carbide maintains high hardness and excellent wear resistance at high temperatures (e.g. 900 to 1000°C), making it suitable for high-speed cutting and high-load cutting environments.
3. Chemical and Thermal Stability: Cemented carbide has good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, and performs stably in various chemical environments, making it suitable for use in harsh working conditions.
4. Flexural strength and toughness: The flexural strength of cemented carbide is generally between 900 and 1500 MPa, and although cemented carbide is relatively brittle, the toughness of the material is still able to meet the needs of turning and milling under certain conditions.
